This is a fine example of a stock 1962 VW bug. This car was bought by a US serviceman while stationed in Europe. It has been well cared for. I have a display board with all the original paper work. The car runs like a top. Looks good and drives well for a 52 year old car. It is all original. The motor was just rebuilt. New distributor. New clutch. The starter and generator were both rebuilt. New Wires and plugs. New voltage regulator and brand new 6 Volt battery. Yes that is correct. It is still a 6 volt car. There is no rust on this car. It looks like the car had a respray at somepoint in its life. The interior is in great shape. No rips or tears and the headliner looks to be original. The car starts as soon as you turn the key.
