Vehicle Detail
In the 5 years and 75000 miles we have owned this I have had the following maintenance done... 2011 it developed an oil leak that required the removal of the heads for resurfacing and head gaskets. 2012 the transmission was rebuilt, new radiator and heater core, alternator and we started having trouble with the air suspension so we replaced the air ride with manual coli over shocks from Strutmaster and they ride as good or better then the airshocks. 2013 the air conditioning compressor locked up and we had a new compressor, condenser and dryer installed......A/C blows cold. Tires are about 60% and I'd get in this and drive to California and back with no hesitation. I'll list the stuff that either doesn't work or has an issue and if I don't mention it assume its good. This is equipped with heated and cooled seats. The controls are there on the console but I have never been able to get them to work. The information center displays a message to "check air suspension" but I replaced the air ride suspension with Strutmaster coil over shocks and I believe a dealer can turn this off this message I just never had it done and you can cancel the message with a button push. I don't have the Disks for the navigation system. The paint is not perfect but it is in great shape for a vehicle this old....and there is one spot on the drivers side dogleg behind the rear door near the gas door where I was loading some flooring for our kitchen on a snow covered ramp and I slid into a safety pole and put a small dent in it. There also is some paint damage on the right rear bumper cover in the area that's painted grey. I included pictures of both of these if you look closely. The cover for the jack and the lowering device for the spare tire is in the floor behind the third row seat and the handle on the cover is broken and missing but you can still access the jack. The chrome plated aluminum wheels have some chrome separating from the Aluminum in the spoke openings that you can see in the pictures. Its not on the spokes and its only cosmetic and not very noticeable. There is one bad scratch on the rear hatch. Its not thru the paint color but it is into the clear coat. It has normal rock chips and door dings but all in all I'd give it a B+ on the exterior. Good solid vehicle. It also has the 6 disk CD changer and doesn't use any oil between oil changes.......no leaks or drips.
