Selling a clean, unmolested 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 SL 4x4 short bed. Truck was one-owner until 2014 when we purchased it for my son earlier this year from the original owners. This was used mostly as a commuter truck by the original owner's wife. Son decided he wants an SUV instead, so we are selling the truck. Clear title is in my son's name. Clean Autocheck, which also verifies one-owner history. 211000 miles, average for 16 years. Mechanically excellent. 5.7 V8 with 4-speed automatic. Only issue with the truck is the speedo reads very high. Apparently this is a common issue with these trucks. Odometer still reads and functions correctly. Overall nice body and paint, with exception of some clearcoat peeling on hood. Appears to be all original paint with no evidence of bodywork or repairs. Lifelong Northwest truck, so its never been in road salt and is rust-free. Includes matching-color canopy and thick rubber bed liner. Paypal deposit of $200 due within 48 hours of auction close.
