Vehicle Detail
Camaro fans, we have here a 95% rust free 80 Camaro. I have the original build sheet for this Camaro (view pic). The body is in really good condition and the car drives and handles well. The floor pans, quarter panels, rocker panels, doors, hood, drivers fender, deck lid and roof are rust free. The passenger fender on the very bottom is showing some rust through as well as the passenger side trunk pan has 2 areas which are pictured. The doors are nice and tight and do not sag when you open the door. The passenger door is missing the side mirror and has a spot about the size of a quarter where the paint flaked off. The engine is a 327 with an automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear. This car has headers and I just had 2.5" exhaust ran all the way out the back and turned down behind the rear tires. Its loud, as it has straight pipes...sounds like a race car. You can add your muffler of choice if you choose to do so. Also has a new Edelbrock Performance 4 barrel carb and a new starter. The intake is aluminum made by Edelbrock as well. Less than 20k miles on the engine. Has power brakes and power steering but you will need to add a power steering pump to utilize the power steering feature. Has Corvette Rallys on it, two of the Rallys are aftermarket and the other two are original GM. The Camaro does have traction bars and of coarse they can be removed if you want to do so. It has a 15 year old amateur paint job on it but the paint still shines nicely. As you may have noticed it has seat covers over the seat and a dash cover. The seat bottom are good but the back rest had rips in the material. The dash pad has a few cracks as well. Considering the condition of the body it wouldn't take much to make this Camaro a super nice car. I can deliver to the east coast region at an agreed upon price but that must be discussed before the auction ends.
