Vehicle Detail
1976 Suzuki GT-750 Water Buffalo-Kettle. No Reserve I bought this bike a few months ago. It had been in dry storage and had not been ridden since 2008. I had always wanted a nice original 2-stroke street bike. However, due to changes in governmental regulations affecting my career I must go back for additional training and need the money. At some point in the bikes life some non-correct items were added, probably in the 1970's judging from the items: a vintage 70's diamond tuck seat cover, sport mirrors, grips and later model turn signals. Original replacement parts for these are easily found to put it back correct if desired. Here is what I have already done. The gas tank was cleaned and lined, the petcock rebuilt, carbs were disassembled and cleaned, the timing and points were set, installed a new battery and spark plugs. There are 2 things it still needs to make it everyday roadworthy. The front master cylinder needs a kit installed and both tires should be replaced as they are old. The goods: The bike starts 1st kick everytime and purrs beautifully through the original good condition exhaust. It runs great and has amazing power. It has very glossy original paint with all emblems and safety stickers in place. The bike is in good condition but as you would expect for a bike almost 40 years old it is not perfect and has minor garage dings here and there. It has a small ding that is 90% under the gas cap cover that was caused by my getting in a hurry and making a stupid mistake that I have not forgiven myself for (it is shown in the pictures). I will assist your shipper if arrangements are made in advance or the bike can be picked up locally.
