THE BIKE Professionally fully rebuilt motor and carbs with only 370 miles (may increase if i ride it) since rebuild. All work was done by Adrenaline Rush Motorsports of West Warwick Rhode Island and RnR Machine. This four cylinder version is a very RARE bike and was only made for three years. I have full documentation going back to the original title from the first owner, and I will include ALL receipts for the work completed and additional parts that were purchased. I am VERY meticulous with my records and keep EVERY receipt for anything done or bought for the bike. This bike is a GEM and a survivor... simply beautiful... and everything was done correctly. This bike took 5 months in the shop to complete. Repairs and Rebuild Everything has been gone through and repaired PROFESSIONALLY by a certified mechanic ... motor..carbs... all electric... brakes... This bike was literally taken down to the frame in the shop, cases split, and put back together. Some of the rebuild includes: -The cases were split and everything was taken apart and cleaned, or replaced. -New plugs, wires, and caps -New battery -New rectifier -New Dyna-S ignition and coils were added to replace the antiquated points (This alone was nearly $400) -New pistons (all four) and piston rings (standard OEM factory size) -New cam chain, cam guide, and cam tensioner -New valves, valve seals, valve guides, and were lapped -The head was fully re-milled, pressure / crack tested, and rebuilt 100% to spec. -The cylinder walls were honed to spec and cleaned. -All new gaskets from top to bottom (including all the oil pump gaskets, which are nearly impossible to find) -New throttle cables and pet cock rebuilt. -All four carbs were rebuilt, cleaned, and synced (New needles, floats, gaskets, jets...all the internals have been replaced with genuine honda parts) -Added Period correct 1970's Jardine exhaust ( 4 headers and 2 mufflers) (All the internals and gaskets were done using VERY EXPENSIVE GENUINE HONDA PARTS!!!!) There is much much more... too much to list.. CONDITION It has a few dents on the tank where the original owner tipped it over in his driveway in 1973. The chrome is not perfect and the bike has normal wear.. but for a 1972 the condition is quite remarkable... and it is RUST FREE. The bike has always been local and was purchased from the original owner, a 78 year old man from a small town in CT. There is nothing wrong mechanically with this bike what-so-ever... and again I will include EVERY receipt for the bike and warranty on the motor build and other repairs. The bike was purchased with around 40k.. but the motor is fresh after the rebuild with only around 370 miles. MODIFICATIONS *I made a few minor cosmetic changes such as.. chopping the rear fender and adding an led tail light, changing the handle bars, and adding knee pads to the tank. The bike comes with all the original parts that were removed so that it can be changed back to stock. Extra parts that come with the bike -an extra original fender -an extra original spare front sprocket crank case cover -the original handle bars -the original tail light -an original exhaust pipe -the original rear luggage rack and passenger seat back ... along with many other extra aftermarket and original parts FINANCIAL This is a straight auction - NO RESERVE - winning bidder gets the bike! PICK UP / DELIVERY I am based in West Warwick, RI and the bike can be shipped anywhere inside or outside of the US. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping. Ideally, I need the bike to be gone within a week after auction close due to space limitations. If you want to pick up the bike personally, that is fine too. The bike is currently registered in Rhode Island and has a clean and current inspection. WHY AM I SELLING? It brings a tear to my eye to let this one go.. I have never worked so long or hard on a bike before.. but family is more important and I need to pay off some debts. You will be getting a great deal on this bike for all the work that has been completed. Including the cost of the bike and all the repairs, parts, and work I have invested over $3,600 dollars into this bike. I estimate that I will be losing quite a bit on money on this deal, so it's my loss and your gain!
