1973 VW Thing. Type 181 Vin # R015004243037 Mileage reads 44,221 4 cylinder 1600 cc gasoline engine. 4 speed manual transmission. This Thing has removable doors and a soft top. The windshield will also fold down. The car starts easily and runs good, interior is very good. All lights, gauges and heater are working. This Thing has the BN4 gas heater under the hood. The tires are good. The brakes feel good and the emergency brake works. The car has a tow bumper with a 1500 lb working winch, the stock front bumper is also included. Complete body off repaint 4 years ago. All engine sheet metal powder coated. All new CV joints. Gas shocks and travel limiters. Rear skid plate and full roll bar. A really nice vintage VW Thing.
