Vehicle Detail
This Car is a 1986 Resto-Mod Car that was a Father /Son Project bought in 2009 at an auction and was Finally Finished fall of 2013.. The very front clip was changed to a 79'-81' ? Don't know why it was changed but ok.. The Car was on a lift and the underbody was sand blasted and refinished w/ POR15 and a sound deadener was installed as well. 98% of Suspension was replaced with Parts from Summit Racing, Ecklers and a few others..Springs, shocks ,swaybars, stainless brake lines, Stainless fuel lines "tank to carb and Return" and a new Gas Tank as well.. The tank filler neck gives problems when filling up, had it scoped and it seems the hole where the neck meets the Tank, it seems to small and the vent works fine?? It just takes time filling up.. I have called Ecklers and nothing they would do for me..The Exhaust system is the PYPES exhaust system ordered through Summit, Performance Mod, Stainless Steel, Dual Exhaust... What wasn't replaced was the actual A-arm's, parking brake, and axles.. All new brakes, New Drums & Rotors, Calipers, Ball joints, Upper/Lower control arms, Sway Bars, etc.. The interior was pretty much done when we got it but I pulled the carpet and POR-15 the floor. I also installed the matting pad sound deadener from firewall to the spare tire hideaway's exterior wall..I re-installed the carpet and seats etc.. I thought the insulating pads would have been fine for the floor in there, but I should have bought some Jute and installed..Might be a thought for new owner?? AM/FM/Cd Player installed with new speakers and 2 were added to rear floor in built Bx's. Engine Compartment was sand blasted and re-finished w/POR15. Motor is a Blue Print Chromed out 383' Stroker Crate Motor, Purchased from Summit, Mod # MLL-BP3830 CTC1.. It was Dyno tested and came out at 413Hp @ 5150RPM..Headers, New Master Cyl, Power Booster, Proportioning valve, Griffith Oversized Aluminum Radiator, Fan, Pretty much everything is new.. The Braking system has low vacuum which causes the brakes to be stiffer than a PB system.. It was fine for me but the new owner may want to add a vac pump designated for the Power booster alone.. The Transmission is a New TH350 with a trick shift installed and I had The Rear End Reworked and now is a 3.73 with Posi.. Also there is a security system as well with dead man starter.. The Tires on the Car are a BF Goodrich G Force Sport/Comp 2 .. They are mounted on American Racing Bright PVD 5 Spoke 17x8 Rims.. 235/45ZR-17 Front, and Rear are 255/45ZR-17, Both Rim's and Tires were purchased from Tire Rack and have less than a 500 miles on them.. This car has never track raced or even seen what kind of time it will have at a 1/4 mile run.. The car has just been a local driver for me, something to go out and have a little fun with.. Well it hasn't seen much road time and ALWAYS garage kept and now we have a new Project Car,1970' Coronet 440 R/T.. Takes money to refinish this one, so that's the only reason why this car is being auctioned.. The Auction will start at $12,000.00 with NO RESERVE!! The auction winner will need $500.00 dwn and Balance in 7 Days, whether you will pick vehicle up or you are going to ship it back home is Responsibility of Buyer.. My zip code is 44473 Vienna, OH. If you have any questions ,please feel free to contact me! I Reserve the right to cancel auction at my Discretion , And There will Be NO RELISTING AFTER THIS AUCTION !!! GOOD LUCK!
