*******NO RESERVE******* For sale is my CB 400F. I bought one of these brand new back in 75. About 4 years ago I saw this one for sale about a mile up the road from where I live and had to buy it. It was dirty and my goal was to get it back to as close to new as I could. I pulled the engine and had the frame painted, repainted the tank, sent out the f,fender, rear fender, and chain guard to have them re-chromed. I cleaned and buffed out as much of the aluminum as I could. I bought a new seat cover, and cleaned the carbs just to be sure they were as they should be. Replaced many rubber parts. The header pipes are original with an aftermarket (replica) muffler. The bike runs and shifts perfectly...oh ya...just put brand new tires on it about 200 miles ago. Now for whats not perfect...the tach works but is slow...not 100% accurate.I didn't replace the rims and spokes because to me they are still in excellent shape for there age. There a small dent (I would call it a scratch on the outside header pipe) that is unnoticeable unless you look underneath. I take it out about twice a month for rides around Saratoga lake. It is a beautiful machine. I tried to be as accurate with the description as I could. Like I said , it starts, runs and shifts perfectly.
