Up for sale is a 1968 Black Camaro. This car is driven as often as I can, I get compliments every time I bring it out. It has SS badges however I have no way to tell that it is a factory SS car. This maybe an original matching number motor/ car but I can’t see the id tag on the engine to verify, my friend says the double humps on the heads are the right look for the time frame but that’s the best I can tell you from what I could find about verifying the id tag from body to motor. The car has a 350 engine that runs great, it has headers and a nice flow master exhaust ( sounds great). The car has new tires all the way around and disk brakes with upgraded Wilwood calipers and stainless braided front brake lines. The car stops great, and runs strong. It has a 3 speed transmission with nice clean fluid, it shifts firm and works like it is supposed to. The car has been painted what I believe is semi gloss black in the recent past. It has tinted windows. To make it perfect you would nee to clean up some areas but it is nice how it is, anything more is just perfecting . I’m sure it could use some touch ups to make the body perfect but it’s a great base to start, and no reason not to drive it.The car has the original floor pans that are solid, and the trunk. The car was just state inspected in Virginia and passed without any issues. The car has the original interior and could use new door panels but I did not want to change anything since it would be the ideal time to change the color if desired. I like the thought of black on black but that’s just my vision for what I considered doing. The odometer in the car says 39950 miles. Judging by the minimal interior wear this appears accurate. The previous owner swore up and down the mileage was original and even went with me to the DMV when I titled it to have it fixed however the title says not actual mileage and they said once its marked “not actual” it can’t be undone is what DMV said, so he swore it was a mistake when he titled.The car has the 10 bolt rear, power steering, disk brakes up front, and factory ac,as well as defrost, however the rear glass does not have a defroster grid however the previous owner removed the ac compressor, and the hoses, so the plumbing is all in the dash however there are a few components needed to fix the ac to work again. This car also has air shocks on the rear but I just put air to it today and it appears the passenger side line has developed a leak, if this is repaired or replaced the rear air shocks will be adjustable.The car rides nice as it is though. The engine oil was just changed and all points with fittings lubed, ready to go. The transmission fluid looks new, and the rear fluid is clean. The car could easily be fully restored if desired or just driven as I have done. The car has working gauges and I also have an extra set of seat belts to go with it.
