This was a very well loved and cared for car up until the last year of its life, and was in excellent condition until then. It stars instantly and shifts well but reverse will sometimes bind up and you need to go back into neutral and then back into reverse again. I have had this car for the last 3 years and I have done any maintenence it needed and replaced all 4 rotors and pads, idler arm, tie rods, shocks with oem Sachs units, oil always changed with mobil1 15w50 synthetic and Mann filters, fuel filters are new also and also has had new Monarch injector nozzles and Bosch glow plugs installed in the past 2 years. The tires are Michelins and are in great shape and only 2 years old at the most. I have driven it to Myrtle Beach, Vermont, ETC and it never skips a beat and the A/C is ice cold although the blower motor just died. The body is 100% rust free as is the undercarriage, it was a South Carolina car for the majority of its life and it never saw a NY winter because I have another winter car. The body was in beautiful shape until I lent it to a customer last year and while in Maryland it got keyed on the 2 right doors, and hit lightly on the 2 left doors, and also the headliner started to fall and I had just replaced it recently with a used one. It is a great car and with a little love can be back to its former glory, it can be driven anywhere if you want to come and get it, just be aware of the reverse issue. The rest of the paint on the car looks and shines great and other then the headliner starting to sag the interior looks great and has the rare leather not the mb-tex which is rare on a diesel. There is a small terar oin the bolster but I have a spare seat back in perfect shape, just needs a cleaning and an upholstery shop can switch it over.
