We purchased this DR200 in July of 2009 for my wife. (This was her third DR200.) She had been without a bike for a few years and wanted one more bike before she gave it up for good. Now, at age 73, she has decided to give up motorcycling. She had restricted her riding on this bike to pavement, and has put 8,700 miles on the bike in 5 years. The prior owner was a retired man who only put 1,000 miles on the bike before he was diagnosed with cancer. The current mileage is 9,700. Obviously the bike has been ridden gently. The front tire is in new condition and the rear has about 50% remaining. Both are dual sport tires. The bike has never required ANY repair. The valves are checked annually. The chain is lubricated frequently with “chain wax”. The oil and filter are changed every 1,000 miles or more frequently. (It’s a small, air-cooled engine, so the oil works hard. And, oil is cheap!) The oil and filter were changed in July. Everything on the bike is in excellent condition and works properly. One of the white plastic side covers has some scuffing on it from before we bought it. There are other minor scratches on the plastic parts, but the tank is perfect. The “bead rider” on the seat is a good anti-vibration device. The bike has always been stored inside, with a motorcycle cover over it. The lightweight cover is included. One spare oil filter is included. The battery is good; about two years old. The bike has a plug for a battery tender. I’ll include a charger. The Moose brand fender pack on the rear fender provides a convenient place to carry small objects. The standard tool kit and owners manual are included. This DR200 has been 100% reliable. Turn the key, pull out the choke, and push the starter button - it has never failed to start. The bike gets over 75 MPG. Title is clear, in my name, and in my possession, ready to deliver with the motorcycle.
