THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED AT KENTUCKY DAM VILLAGE STATE RESORT PARK, GILBERTSVILLE, IN WESTERN KENTUCKY. If you plan on repairing this truck and returning it to service, it falls under the CDL, Commercial Drivers License, with an Endorsement of "Air Brakes" and more than likely, a Class "B" License as well.. This vehicle was used around the park area and worked well. The Parks Department replaced their front-end loader with a smaller version and it just could not reach up over the sides of the bed rails. So, they parked it. A few years later, they decided to get it up and running and discovered that there was rust in the fuel tanks. They decided to go on and sell it. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. VIN: 1GBS7D4GXKV113631 General: The odometer is showing only 35,458 miles. The truck is a 70-Series (C-70) with an 8.2 Liter Diesel V8 Engine. Manual Transmission. It has an Air Open tail gate switch. also a Differential Locking switch to "lock-In" all rear wheels for better traction on softer or loose terrain. The PTO runs the Hydraulic Pump(s). The under side of the chasis looks to be in good condition, with the only 'wet' spot was on the hydraulic pump. It has dripped onto the ground under it. The tires still have good tread but might be in need of replacement due to dry-rot. The Heavy Duty Steel Bed is in good condition and has no holes in it. It does have a few weeds or whatever growing in it at this time. They are up near the cab and on one side. (SEE PICTURES) The truck has no Air Conditioning. The top of the cab is not beaten up and neither is the part of the bed that overhangs the cab. The dash has a big crack in it. The vinyl floor mat has a tear in it on the passenger side of the shifter. I forgot to measure the length of the bed. I believe that it is At Least 18' to 21' in length. Possibly a liitle more. There were no signs of any leakage on the wheel hubs. Inside or outside. There is a 'skid-plate' that covers the bottom of the engine. This truck has three axles, including the front axle. There are 10 tires on the ground. This vehicle may have more issues now, from sitting. But it was parked because the new machine couldn't reach over the bed rails to load it. They seem to think that the fuel system needs to be gone through and a new battery or batteries (whichever the case) at the minimum to get it running. We DO NOT accept Debit/Credit cards. a) Local Pickup may be at various locations throughout the Commonwealth, make certain you know the correct pick up location for your item. The main warehouse in Frankfort is open M-F 8 am-3:00 pm Eastern Time. You must retrieve item (s) within 5 business days (vehicles 10 business days) from close of auction; you must have in hand PayPal Receipt or Invoice to retrieve your property item (s). Vehicles require presentation of Drivers License if vehicle is driven offsite. NO weekend pick ups. b) Remote sale items require PAID in FULL receipt or PayPal Receipt as pick up ticket; no payments accepted at remote pickup locations; items must be prepaid. Remote items require you call ahead to schedule date and time to retrieve your item (see item description for contact information including phone numbers.) c) A customer, who fails to remove property under Sec. 3 (a), (as the COK space is not public storage,) gives up the right to the property; see Sec. 5, Auction Default. Most often the listings will allow a choice of shippers between US Postal Service & UPS. We do offer “combined shipping,” over 5 day shopping period or up to 10 items, whichever occurs first to ease the cost of shipping for prompt payers.
