For auction is a 1976 ford f250 custom pickup. This truck is restored but does have a few small flaws here and there (touched up scratch or two etc..) but otherwise is in excellent condition. Everything has been repainted, polished, or sprayed with bedliner. The windshield was replaced today, new tail lights, several new marker light covers, new interior carpet, new rear main seal and main bearings, new shocks, recent exhaust, new rear bumper, just put a new seat cover on it and we altered it to fit better, fresh oil, custom door covers and head liner, new midnight blue ppg deltron paint with blue metal flake and pearl candy clear. I only have a few pictures for now I am waiting for some sun to add more the sun really shows off the paint. The bed has multiple coats of spray in bedliner after being sandblasted, the underbody got the same treatment the frame was also sandblasted and painted. The engine is a 385 series 429ci big block (more or less a short stroke 460) with a c6 transmission. It has a weiand stealth manifold with a fairly new holley carb that has electric choke. I was told it has a mild cam in it and the idle is slightly lopey so it very well may. It has 35" tires which have very little tread with 16.5" weld racing typhoon wheels which will fit the military surplus tires. I just put the steps on it and reinforced them to the frame so they are quite sturdy. I cleaned up the wiring and put them in braided looms. The engine runs very well and starts without pumping the accelerator, drives out very well. I am sure there is much more and as I remember I will add anything I can think of. I also remembered a few more things I need to mention, the blower motor for the heater does not work it looks like someone cut the wires under the hood they also deleted the factory air conditioning as well as bypassing the heater core I have no idea why this was done. The truck also has new door weather stripping, a new chrome o ring water neck, a new polished stainless battery tray, the alternator has been converted to the 3g alternator so no external regulator is needed as well as having more output, the hydraulic assist steering has been changed over to a gearbox, the rear end is a dana 60 with 4.10 gears per the id tag, the front is a dana 44, the four wheel drive works well, I put a new 1 piece steel cored oil pan gasket on it when I changed the main bearings and rear main seal in hopes of keeping leaks at bay. I changed out the exhaust manifolds to a pair off a 460 van that had reinforcement ribs on them because the originals were cracked I also replaced the gaskets and added some flex hose from the engine to the exhaust to lower the chance of recracking as well as reduce engine noise and vibration. A pair of headers would go a long way here but were not in my budget. When we have a nice sunny day I will add more pics and some of under the truck as well. The truck has 3 gallons of clear on it then was wet sanded and polished so I want the pictures to look there best! This truck is not quite a show truck but I would be proud to take it to any parade or cruise to show off. I also have a cd player that goes with the truck but have not installed it yet.
