If you are shopping for one of these wagons, this is the one you want. (Unless you wait to find one warehoused for the last 20 years, but it will cost you (10-20K)). I now live where need 4 wheel drive, plus kids have cars.... I bought it on ebay in 2005 w/ 45K miles....I have kept-up this car think it would appreciate, and some day it will. It can be a daily driver, or a collectable. If you buy this Roadmaster, you can have confidence that everything that has needed repair has been done, and then some. You will get the receipts. If you buy another..... well read below what you could be in for. This Roadmaster is originally from Hilton head has no rust, no missing trim pieces, really nice paint. Weathered wood trim has been replaced. Rust is something which is very hard to fix, and trim parts are a challenge to find. If you look closely at most other Roadmasters for sale, even at the dealer, they have degraded wood veneer or missing plastic trim parts. I just had it detailed, it looks great. The windows are tinted. Mechanically new battery, new tires, sylvania light bulbs, new manifold gasket and valve cover gaskets, water pump - and painted these items - makes engine look new. Also new wires and plugs. Roughly 25K miles ago replaced the brakes and shocks (w/bilstein gas shocks). Also replaced the (plastic!) gas tank, alternator, gas pump, radiator, and starter. Coolant, oil, and tranny fluid are new. Sound system upgraded to POLK speakers, Panasonic head, XM tuner, and an XM amplified subwoofer. At 90K the ball joints RIGHT and stabilizer arm were also replaced. Even the glass tailgate window lift struts have been replaced. All these cars come with the same fuel injected engines, cruise control, thermostat HVAC. Supposedly the 1993 fuel injection is better, GM made it cheaper in later years. It lives w/me in southern MINN, but I often go to Denver, so can bring it there or anywhere in between. Its back on ebay as the "buyer" was actually a con artist.
