*This is a very solid truck and was being driven daily until the brakes stopped working last week. I was about to drive it when the brake pedal went all the way down to the floor and brake fluid leaked out onto the ground from under the driver's side door. It cannot be driven as it is now - I have moved it slowly using the emergency brake but would not drive it until it can be fixed. This is a known issue that is being investigated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration which may result in a recall. A recent article in the New York Times addressed this: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/08/automobiles/gm-resists-recalling-trucks-over-brake-line-problem.html The engine always starts on the first try and runs well, the transmission/4X4 works smoothly, the a/c is cold and the interior is in good shape. There are obvious signs of the truck's age and mileage including a 3-4 inch tear along the side of the driver's seat, small nicks, scratches and dents on the exterior and interior and the front and rear passenger window regulators need to be replaced.
