Vehicle Detail
Original Hurst/Olds! This is a REAL W-30! This beauty has been in the same family for nearly 30 years. Numbers matching 455 & Turbo 400 Transmission. Underneath, I would rate this a 3.5 out of 5. Very good condition underbody. Runs and drives smooth and straight. Everything works but the AC. Tires are in great condition. Has a new Billet distributor and correct numbers matching professionally rebuilt carb. New 850 cca battery. This is the last year of the big block and the first year of the t-tops. Vinyl top has no rips or tears. Interior is good condition, a 3 out of 5. Swivel bucket seats with reversible white/black inserts . 8 track am/fm. Everything is there, much paperwork, and an additional T-top panel as well. We were starting restoration but just don't have the time or place anymore. It needs to go to a new owner who can enjoy and appreciate it. Enjoy the rest of summer with some genuine Detroit vintage muscle. No Reserve! Bid with confidence, I have bought and sold many high ticket items over several years on eBay. In an effort to be as accurate as possible I'm going to add some shortcomings. The grill has a broken section that is held together with a tiewrap. The hood is a little tricky to open and will need some adjustment. The power steering has started to squeal a bit. The exhaust has a hole in it. The radio antenna is broken. Tint was added to the windows many years ago. With all of this said, it is a good car at a fair price and exceptionally rare. I would not hesitate to drive it locally. However, any further I would recommend a trailer. This car has been garaged or in storage its whole life. It would not take much to bring this car back to its former glory. What will the future of this car be? A fun weekend project or nut and bolt show car? It is up to you, make it yours.
