Here's a great bike that I have enjoyed riding around SF. It has new cables, brakes were worked on very few miles ago, tires ridden one season. 38K miles, the vast majority of those ridden by the original owner, who sold the bike in 2010. I'm just in town a few days and haven't had a chance to take better photos. eBay assures me the selling price would be 30% higher if I did… my loss, your gain. It looks like a 1978 Honda CB750K. Ding in tank and ding in fender are exhibited for your viewing pleasure. It has a comfortable aftermarket seat and aftermarket pipes which are far superior to the original (though you can go back to original very cheaply if you like). Only one ding in the original tank and it's a small one. Plenty of power. Not perfect cosmetically (40 years old after all) but an easy candidate for complete restoration or just a great ride. Winterized when I put it away a couple of years ago. It's not starting today, so I'm going through the basic steps to get it running… treating the rings, replacing plugs etc. Not many possibilities, there is so little that can go wrong with these bikes. So I expect it to be running well within a day or two. If it's not running I will renegotiate the price with the winning bidder to allow him/her to get a mechanic to work on it. In addition to the bike I have an excellent Shoei helmet in very good condition for $150 (retail $500), a Vanson leather jacket for $200 (retail $400), and leather chaps for $40 (used once).
