My passion for the 914-6 began in the 1970’s when I worked for Art Bunker Porsche-Audi. Art Bunker Porsche was chosen by Porsche to be the factory backed 914-6 race team. Today, I race a championship winning 914-6 in the SCCA Midwest division. From my personal collection of 914-6 and 911s, I am offering my RARE 914-6 #31066 at NO RESERVE. I have owned this Porsche for over twenty years. This 914 has been archive researched by Porsche Germany. Included are photos of the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and two letters from Porsche Germany. This 914-6 (# 3106) has: Rally type above bumper fog lights 15 x 7 Fuchs wheels Early race type flares to accommodate the 15 x 7 wheels Engine & transaxle are serial numbered and original 914-6 units Weber carburetors are 40 IDS – same as the factory rally engine 914-6 Engine and transaxle are period correct for a 914-6, but per the Porsche certificate of authenticity are not matching to the #31066 chassis The engine and transaxle have been rebuilt and have less than 50 miles. The odometer reads 56, 296 and due to the age of the car will be sold exempt from any requirements for actual miles. Google indicates some pictures were taken in 2005. All pictures were taken in the past 2 months and I guarantee that the condition of the car is exactly as seen in the photos. I believe my old camera was not set to date. 2. Is everything working on this car? Everything is in working condition that includes: the radio, door buzzer, horn, turn signals, windshield washer/wiper, all lights (interior and exterior). 3. When you rebuilt the engine was it done as a 2 liter? How long have you had the car? This REAL 914-6 has been in my garage for over 20 years. The engine was completely rebuilt in my race shop to factor 914-6 specs. This engine is an original 914-6 from the fly wheel to the front pulley and the air cleaner to the heat exchangers. The only deviation from stock 914-6 are the chain tensioners, which were replaced with mechanical tensioners. On Aug-10-14 at 17:45:48 PDT, seller added the following information: 4.
