Vehicle Detail
This is a 1975 Dodge Tradesman 200 Conversion Van 3/4 Ton Automatic with 194,293 original miles on the original smooth, strong running 318 V8 . We purchased the van from the "original owners" on July 19, 2014. Original owners kept the vehicle in pristine "ORIGINAL" condition throughout their ownership, and it's ALWAYS been garaged when not in use. They also kept a file of alot of the records on the vehicle + extra new parts for long distance travels and all the original manuals from the dealership. It has the "FACTORY ORIGINAL PAINT" still on it in great condition, always waxed. The left side drivers door is the only original setback in which it had been replaced due too leaving it open while slowly rolling back bending it slightly too much to save. The new one is fitted like the original with only a little slightly color difference of orange, but hardly noticeable. Has only 2 small dents; one is a (7 X 4) inch dent on the drivers side back corner, and the other on the back bumper as seen in the photos. Previous owner painted the dent and one small scratch by the drivers door with touch up paint. Up close the normal wear on this vehicle is hard to notice. Right side door has 2 small square sticker residue marks in to spots from added accessory, easy fix. It looks like it was freshly painted with no dents besides the bumper and bck corner. Small other little wear and tears are slightly visible. Has... NO RUST!!! Door jams are factory clean. Inside is all original factory condition table, storage space, bed/couch, privacy magnetic window screens for all the windows, 20 gallon water tank, portable potty(never used), tire chains, bumper jack, tools, carpet, all wood panels, 3 storage closets, 3 storage drawers, cabinets under the bed, fridge, fire extinguisher, spare tire, dash board, window dash, are all in good working condition. Sink pump needs replacing, easy fix under drivers door(see pic). AC is not working, so the vent windows are a must use. AC needs the part as shown in picture on the table ( heater control valve). Substitute heater control valve is on it but original owner didn't know why it leaks still, so it will need servicing. The Tranny, & Torque Converter was rebuilt in 2006. New fan clutch in 2009. New left drivers door replaced cost $900.00 in 2004. Master cylinder was replaced in 2004 as well. Cams, Valve gaskets, headers and smaller items have been replaced or fixed but all except the AC and a little hand sized water pump for the sink. These 2 situations are the only things so far that seem to be unfixed due to moving plans. Outside side plastic marker lens are slightly cracked or cracking, and 1 lens on the back as well. Front drivers seat has a couple glued seams, Passengers seat is excellent. Curtains inside are slightly parting away and a back plastic door frame trim is chipped away. Starter kinda winds slightly after the start but works better after its warmed up. It also has a bunch of new spare parts, fuses, bulbs, fuel pump, hoses, clamps, etc...ect.. for long distance remote area traveling. The original owners were very obsessive compulsive individuals, and ALWAYS maintained the van since it was purchased in 1975. Also has many receipts, records, and original manuals on all different on the van as well. Van has also has Auxiliary Gas Tank, Locking Mag Wheels, Extra Keys, 20 gallon fresh water tank, heavy duty Receiver, Separate RV Battery, Duel 110/12 V. Refrigerator, a new Interstate battery in Jan on 2014, and Brand New Yokohama Tires recently. Drives perfect with a quiet motor that can put you to sleep. This Van is a RARE ORIGINAL FIND from 1975 in great running and driving condition. It could easily take a place at a Car Show or just be used for it's traveling purposes. No SMOG!! New owner must pay Tags/Transfer which are only $188.00. Tags are up to date till 7-31-2014. This van will stay parked and unused till it is sold. This Van is one of our greater original finds since we've been back in the business of chasing cars to sell, Fortunately We find some hard to finds vehicles, Thankx for reading and Good Luck to the Highest Bidder who will win this " Old School, 1 Owner 70's Conversion Classic Dodge Van".
