1960 Renault Dauphine 1960 Renault Dauphine 4 Door barn find, sixties family sedan. Complete car is in overall fair to good shape, but needs a complete restoration. 4 Cylinder engine (does not run), missing some parts/valve cover, will need to be worked on or rebuilt. The interior needs to be redone due to sun damage. Some minor rust here and there, but not terrible, the car is originally from Texas. Mostly paint discoloration on the fenders, roof, hood and trunk. A few rust spots at the bottom corners of the doors and the drivers side rocker panel. Due to the car having been stored in a barn in Texas with the windows open for a long period of time, the interior is very dusty and dirty. Perfect for a really cool French restoration project, or unconventional fabrication concept car. The body should fit on a Suzuki Samurai chassis. The car could be used as a parts car for someone already rebuilding a Dauphine, but I think it is still too nice and has too much potential for restoration to be dismantled and parted out. The car rolls, but the tires are dry rotted and flat and will need to be replaced. 4 cylinder gas engine, white exterior with beige interior and manual transmission. Current clear Colorado Title.If the Buyer is in the Denver Metro area, since the car is on my trailer I would be willing to deliver it locally for an additional/reasonable fee.I purchased this with the intent to restore it, but have decided I am going to sell all of my restoration projects and concentrate only on completed cars, as I no longer have the time or energy for restoration projects.The car is priced to sell at $950 OBO - Cash or Bank Wire only.
