***Relisted With No Reserve!*** Here you have a Custom Built 1951 Triumph Thunderbird. This bike has been featured in Greasy Kulture #33 and The Horse Backstreet Choppers #128. Engine: 1951 6T Carburetor: Amal 289 Transmission: 1956 "Slick Shift" Frame Front: 1956 Swing Arm Frame Rear: Pre 1954 Original Rigid grafted to Swing Arm front Front End: Original 1956 Front Wheel: 21" laced with SS Spokes to a Norton ES2 Hub with 8" Pre Unit Triumph Brake Plate Rear Wheel: 19" Triumph Pre Unit with SS Spokes Headlight: 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix Marker Tank: Lowbrow Customs "Wassel Peanut" Fender: Custom Made 7 Metal West Aluminum Seat: Leather Tuck and Roll West Eagle Solo This bike was built as a period correct show bike. It has been ridden less than 50 miles since completion. It comes with clean and clear title. However, it is not street legal due to no taillight and tag bracket. The bike has not been wired for lighting and currently runs off it's original Lucas K2F magneto. It does come with its Original charging system consisting of the Lucas E02 generator and a Lucas Rectifier. The engine was built from the sludge trap up with all stock specs. The head is the original cast iron head with it and the cylinder being ceramic coated silver. It has been bored to .020 over. The transmission and clutch have all been rebuilt and new clutch plates installed. This bike rides and pulls like a freight train. It starts on the first kick. This bike has been used specifically as a show piece since its build. I feel it is time to pass her on to someone else. Ride it on the street or sit her in the corner. Either way, you are guaranteed to catch every eye around. A deposit of $750 is required at the end of Auction. Shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. Open to international bidding. Bidders must have 100% feedback and satisfactory prior transactions. Sorry no first time bidders. Local pickup is preferred and can be done in the Tampa Florida area. The remainder of the price will be paid and cleared within 7 days of Auction ending and before pickup or shipping. The reserve is set low and happy bidding.
