This car is in excellent overall mechanical and cosmetic condition. Every aspect of the major components has been addressed for reconditioning with regards to paint, convertible top, tire, brakes, battery, interior, engine, sound system and theft protection. The car drives well, runs great and is a very sanitary example of one of the most well built automobiles the world over. It appears to be ready for another 41 years of daily driving. The cae has a custom sound system and a custom alarm system that were both professionally installed and they are both in working order. The true milage is unknown. The speedometer does not work, however the cable for it is brand new. The gas gauge does not work. The driver's side window crank mechanism has a hang-up but will roll down and all the way up with some assistance. The rear (engine) deck lid locking mechanism needs repair bur that same deck lid is triggered for the theft protection and is alarmed. There are 3 paint blemishes worth mention. $500 non refundable deposit through paypal within 48 hours of auction end is required. Balance is due within 4 days of auction end or car will be relisted and your deposit will be confiscated without exception. This car was rarely driven and used as a weekend car. It is currently owned by the second owner and she is certain that the speedometer hasn't rolled over ever. She believes that the true milage is close to the speedometer reading.
