1960 Mercedes Benz 190SL Up for auction 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL. This barn fresh 190SL has been stored under cover for 40 years and is suitable for restoration. The MB 190SL is equipped with the removable large window hardtop. No soft top/convertible top is available. Missing interior items include both seats, clock, radio, ashtray leather cover, driver's side sun visor and tachometer. The hardtop headliner has numerous rips in the mohair type headliner material. All glass is intact with no cracks. The paint code is DB334 medium blue. The interior leather door panels and dash appear to be a dark grey. The front passenger footwells have rust throughs. There are rust throughs in the rear quarter panels with repairs. The front headlamp area has rust repairs although the nose panel itself appears solid. The front jack points support the car. The rear axle strut supports are intact and appear solid. The trunk has a few rust throughs. There is no jack or spare tire or hubcaps. There are trim pieces on all wheelwell openings except the passenger side rear. The gas tank appears solid with heavy surface rust. The motor installed in the engine bay is a 190, #121.920-10-005985 equipped with bell housing clutch assembly and transmission. There are no solex carburetors or air cleaner. The engine does not turn is not free. Oil shows on the dipstick. There is no radiator There are no brakes including emergency brake. The car rolls ,is steerable and all 4 tires hold air. The odometer shows 02749,actal mileage unknown. Items sold by me are used,old and as is where is. No guarantees are expressed or implied.
