I bought this 911 from a Porsche dealer in Puerto Rico back in 1985. I have been the second owner for the lasts 29 years. It was my everyday car up to July 2009 when I moved to Massachusetts and left the car in PR doing some mechanics and painting. The car was brought to Massachusetts on March 2012 and never used on winter. The car has been always garage since the first owner and myself. During the years I have been doing some upgrades to make it more of a Porsche. The car is rust free and no accidents. This car has been very, very loyal for an everyday used car. Bigger wiper water nozzle from more modern 911 Replaced less than 100 miles 1- New Starter 2-Flywheel replaced 3-New Clutch, Pressure Plate and Throw out Bearing 4-2 New Rear CV Axles 5-2 New Rear Wheel Bearings 6-New Clutch Cable 7- New Clutch Cable Guide 8-New Clutch Fork 9-CDI Unit Refurbished ( Warranty for 5 years ) 10-New Rear Sway Bar Bushing 11-New Rear Sway Bars Drop Links Bushing 12-New Gas Filter 13-New Spark Plugs 14-New Distributor Cap and Rotor 15-New Spark Plug Wiring Set Beautiful Silver Paint Black -Green Interior Marine Leather like Vinyl Quality, Black Headliner ( was white originally). See picture of shiny mirror effect the car door has. The interiors are in very good condition. Working condition: 1 Engine: Powerful power plant with an Estimate 45 -50,000 miles since last unnecessary overhaul ...the car just went for change two broken dilavars and once was already there the complete overhaul was performed back in 2003 or 2004 . The car was garage in 2009 after new fresh paint and a few mechanical things. After the car came to Massachusetts in a close container. The engine in this moment is running good and strong but there is an apparent not constant timing distribution chain minor sound. Each one of the pistons were reduced one ounce in weight and balanced to .0000 grams with an analytical close pharmaceutical quality balance. The engine roars good. No leaking oil detected. 2- Transmission: Shifts seamlessly through all the gears, no grinding . Transmission synchronizers changed back in 2003 or 2004 . While the car is cold the transmission has a humming sound that diminishes after a while. Besides that no problem. Transmission gears oil changed....humming continues. 3- Air conditioner not working... need to change the rear deck evaporator ....lose R134 gas after a while. 4-Radio not working since the car was painted...most likely the detachable radio face need new batteries or the is not getting power due the antenna was change when the car was painted. Actually It has a manual antenna. 5- Cruise control not working...most likely the switch control need to be changed. 6- In Puerto Rico you don't need a heater. It was removed but when car was sent to Massachusetts ...there are missing heating unit ducts parts at the engine compartment but you get hot air at the cabin constantly with the actual connection done. 7-Passenger seat belt is breaking. I don't know how this happened. 8-Wiper timer not working ...need a new timer 9-Driver's door hinge base at post fatigue from opening and closing many times a day , everyday for 25 years. It's not rust . See picture. 10-Rear view mirror plastic frame breaking. 11-Front windshield glass has minor hazing around corners 12-Sorry I got this car without tool kit, but is has wheel nuts universal wrench, air pump, and Porsche owners and maintenance manual , written warranty of CDI unit for 5 years. 13- Heater controls base broken, actual heater fan switch next to sunroof switch. Term of Sale: I have total faith in the quality and loyalty of this car and it has been described as accurate as possible under my best understanding. The car is being sold AS-IS, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied in connection therewith but the CDI unit that has 5 years written warranty. $2,000 Deposit through Pay Pal is due within 24 hours after the end of the auction, The balance in full should be paid by cashier /bank check or wire tranfer and is due 7 calendar days . In case of cashier/bank check should clear before delivering the vehicle. If terms of sale are not met the bidder is going to be reported to e-bay, and the car is going to be re listed. The car has to be pick up within 10 days after the check clears at bank. Pick up at my location by bidder or shipping company.
