For sale is a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 with the very rare 7 Litre option. This car comes with it's original 428 which has been rebuilt along with it's matching C-6 transmission. The engine has been upgraded with a Cobra Jet cam, Edelbrock performer manifold , Hooker Super Comp headers, Crane electronic ignition and Holley 750 vacuum secondary carb. The alternator and power steering pump are new and the radiator has been rebuilt. Recent upgrades include a Hurst Quarter stick shifter, Turbo action valve body and Hurst line loc. The rear end is the original with traction loc and 4.11 gears and Hoosier 30" Drag Radials. The car has Crites fiberglass bumpers and hood but will come with 2 original hoods, one of which has the under hood light option. I have every piece of 7 Litre trim that will also come with the car(sorry no trunk spear). The car has brand new 7 Litre specific power disk brakes, all new drums, brake lines and the correct Kelsey Hayes rims up front. Other upgrades include a mechanical oil and temp guage (the original dash lights still work) new gas tank, body mount rubber, coil springs and Spohn lower and upper control arms (the originals will come with the car). I currently present the car as a Nostalgia B/FX 60's era race car but anything removed from the car has been saved and can be re installed. This car has run in the low 14's with 1.80 sixty foot times with a 5100 RPM rev limiter to protect the original drive train. The car was recently displayed at the York Nostalgia Nationals.
