The very desirable factory overdrive coupled to the all synchro 4-speed transmission makes freeway driving effortless. This 1972 Triumph TR6 has 56,000 original mileage. Great car that always gets compliments at traffic lights and gas pumps. We purchased this awesome car in 2008 after it had been fully restored. At that time, the previous owners had done the following work:Motor had been rebuilt with higher compression. The engine is stronger and a stock 72 TR-6 and runs excellent. The transmission is 4 speed with a J Type overdrive. It has overdrive in gears 2, 3 and 4.
