Vehicle Detail
$5,000 reserve before it gets traded in towards an e36 m3/4/5!!!! This vehicle has never been in any accident!!!!!! Each panel still has the original vin on it! If you have any doubts, please come inspect or ask me for specific photos! Great shape, no rust and 64,000 original miles! I'm the 3rd owner (second owner was my father until January of last year). History: Original owner was from NYC and car was there for 1year when the owner was arrested for running a diamond smuggling operation (no joke). Car was confiscated, given a new vin and sold at auction to a friend of the family. I have the original vin and all of the panels match, but the title has a non bmw vin (clear unblemished title). My parents owned the car from '95 (under 10,000 miles) on and drove it from May-October, the. It was stored for the winter. I have meticulous records of work done since they/I have owned it. Timing belt broke in August of 2012 due to old age. I spent over 3,000 having the head refreshed, timing belt, water pump and all tired ancillaries on the engine replaced as necessary. New tires, battery, alternator, front struts, steering rack and stainless Ireland Engineering knock off cat back exhaust. Will need new brakes soon, and I will replace soon if I have the time/an still driving the car. Has a factory fiberglass hard top in great shape, though the saggy headliner was removed. Original soft top is in rough shape, and needs an electric motor repair kit (google it. It's a common failure). Could also use rear shocks. Selling because I have a 3 year old and even though he and I love the car, I'm sick of loading him in the back seat of it, and the wife doesn't love that it has no airbag or roof for him. Having a tough time listing this as ebay doesn't recognize the current vin, I have to use the original vin and mark it as a salvage or it keeps removing my ad. The vin listed is the original bmw vin. There was never any accident or salvage title. Title is free and clear with no blemishes, but the car was issued a new ny state vin number because a ny state police confiscated a car and gave it a new vin. Any questions email me and we can talk or set up a visit.
