I am finally ready to let her go! This is a 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe! It has a 1600 Dual Port engine, and a 4 speed manual transmission. It is a great car that spent it's entire life in California, until we moved back here. The interior is in great shape. It has 4 new tires, with less than 100 miles on them. New rotors, and pads in the front. New battery. It doesn't need anything to be a daily driver, although that is not what it has been. I have only had her out a hand full of times, to shows and to car cruises. These are only going to go up in value, and have been for the last few years. It has a little surface rust on drivers door, from some old body work. I purchased a perfect, complete door for her years ago, and it will go with her. I also have a complete set of german glass that will go with her. This is the last one of 6 Ghias that I've owned, so your the lucky one that will get extras, that really are worth a ton of money, for basically free. The car alone is worth the asking price. It has a perfect NEVER hit nose, which is like finding a unicorn! It is the only one I've ever had, that's why I kept her. It has an older repaint, and slight body work here and there, but looks great from 10 feet away. With a little body work and a new paint job($1500), this is a 10-12K car all day long. Sorry for all the numbers, it's just that the last time I thought about selling her I had to explain to a lot of people what it was, and what it was worth. This is the best year, hands down, 12 Volt system, and Disc brakes, and still the cool bumpers, and smaller tail lights. Everything works as it should, but understand, it is 43 years old!
