1995 MUSTANG GT Convertible in remarkable condition, Carmax confirms this is a definite southern car. It was purchased new at a Ford Dealer in Fort Myers, FL in the fall of 1994 & remained in the area until March 2013 when it was transported by enclosed auto carrier to Crystal Lake IL. The owner in his 80's decided to consign to his best friend who owns an area Chrysler dealership. As a long time Mustang enthusiast, I saw it for the 1st time on Apr. 6th and knew what a fine car it was.. No question, this car was babied from day one ..there was not a scratch or dent on it.Very few of the GT's came with the chrome yellow combination. (offered on the Ford Cobras) with a super clean white power top and white leather interior. In 2012 the owner decided to really make it stand out by purchasing an awesome tire and wheel combination, replacing the stock wheels, that cost slightly over $3,000. This really sets the car apart and makes it standout. These are chromed five spoke 18 inch Ford Cobra wheels and the performance tires are BF Goodrich g-force TA's. The fronts are 275/35ZR18 and the rears are wider at 295/35ZR18. Expensive but excellent road hugging tires. There is hardly any visible wear on the tires. Since I have owned the car has been stored indoors except for an added 100 miles or so added since purchased. Right now odometer reads just under 41K . I have replaced the original radiator with a new one with all new upper and lower hoses. That was installed by the local Ford dealer along with a brand new Motorcraft battery. All fluids and filters have been changed. The car was recently fully inspected by Ford mechanics. Former owner upgraded the AM/FM CD player with a Panasonic version. It has never been smoked in. The original boot cover is in the car. There are a number of new upgrades from American Muscle the superstore for Mustang owners that have yet to be installed but I will let them go with the car.. There are billet aluminum grills for both the upper and lower front sections. High end chrome style Raxiom one piece headlight system with matching lower Raxiom fog lamps also come with the car. As well there is a black front air dam or air deflector piece that will look very sharp on the car. There are not many 20 year old GT Mustang Convertibles in existence in this condition and with this unique color combination.. Any of course let us not forget this is an automatic transmission and the engine is one of the last 5.0 liter engines to be installed before ford went to 4.6 version. This is stand out car that gets lots of looks.
