Wow, heres a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a one owner untouched all original survivor 1986 Honda Big Red 250ES ATC with 61 original miles!! This machine was owned by an older gentlemen who passed away a few months ago, he purchased this brand new in 1986! I recently purchased it from his wife, 2 daughters, and son. History:The son still remembers the day his father made the purchase. He said that his father couldn't decide whether to get the red, white, and blue Honda 250sx or the Big Red 250ES. He came to conclusion that the Big Red was more suitable for his needs. At the time of purchase he the dealer installed three hondaline accessories that were offered at the time, a speedometer/odometer, siren, and windshield. In the same year the atc was purchased, it was rarely used. When it did get used it was used to move things around their 1/2 acre property. The following year (1987) the family moved to a smaller property where it really couldn't be used, so it sat unused (gas drained out of tank and carburetor) in the garage. It wasn't until 14 years later when the atc was revived. The atc received fresh oil and fuel and was up and running again, but yet again lack of use put it back in the garage (fuel drained from tank and carburetor). It wasn't until a few weeks when the family decided to put the atc up for sale. The son put new fuel and oil in it and got it running again. He then brought it down to the local dealership to a put a tube in one of the back rear tires because the tire wouldn't hold air (it had dry cracks in the side wall from sitting). The other two tires hold air fine and don't have any dry cracks on them.Description:The machine runs and operates like a new machine. Everything works exactly as it should. This machine is in exceptional condition for its age. Nothing is broken or repaired. No leaks or weird noises. Never seen dirt or mud. (Ill let the pictures speak for themselves). It has some light scratches on fenders and racks, minimal surface rust, oxidation on the front left fork leg, couple small chips on gas tank, but overall very minimal wear. Please remember this is almost 30 years old. I must stress that I have not touched up, detailed, or restored anything on this atc. It still has the original spark plug and fuel line. The only 2 things I replaced were the air filter and battery(had the original white honda battery in it). Besides that the bike is 100% original from 1986. It still has the green engine sticker above the foot shifter and the original black marking from factory on the backside of rear fenders. Speedometer, trip odometer, and odometer work with no problems. Tires still have blue paint lines visible. The tires also have the center tread and nipples on them. The original NY license plate is still mounted to the rear of an metal american flag plaque - last registered was in 2001. Seat is mint with no rips and has the original markings on the backside. Yellowing on front bolts. No rust anywhere on the machine. Tank is rust free. Tools remain untouched since new and are still under the seat. All in all this is a super rare find. It is a one owner, all original/untouched, true survivor 1986 Honda Big Red 250es ATC. It will come with a clear NY transferable registration, owners manual, and original tools.
