This is a 1970 VW Bug Convertible that is in great shape. " Little to No Rust". I just had it appraised in order to sell it for the proper price, the appraised value is $9400.00. Your winning bid will take the car away for substantially less!! The engine was rebuilt by Boston Motors, I would say that the engine has around 5k on it since the rebuild, The odometer stopped working and just needs a new cable . I just polished the chrome after the appraisal and the hubcaps look like mirrors and the bumpers look great - all the previous surface rust is now gone. I change the oil every 1,000 miles. This Bug runs like a top. The convertible top has just been replaced with a complete overhaul, We even had the rails sandblasted and painted . I decided to do the top in a black canvas it looks better than new .There were a few seams that needed to be repaired in the interior, and we did them at the same time; the same shop did both jobs. I always had qualified VW Old timers working on the Bug . There is a small indentation , not a dent , on the drivers side just under the rear window, more of a crease and you can only slightly see it. The paint is not bad at all but not perfect. I drive it all the time. I have never had any problems starting it even in the New England weather. I do not, however take it out during snow season. There is not much to do to make this a really sweet ride. I will also throw in a cover that cost $200 that I got last Xmas and any other miscellaneous parts and items I have. I just lost my job a few weeks ago and at 60 years old , I have no choice but to sell my baby. The Bug has valid Massachusetts title and is currently on the road.
