This motorcycle has been my daily commuter and features many extras, including BMW hard cases, extended mirrors, kickstand extension pad, and an aftermarket windscreen from Madstad Engineering. It has always been garage kept and has been maintained by the local BMW dealer. The 6000 mile service, including an oil change, was performed last fall. The original battery was replaced with an aftermarket battery a month ago. It is relatively light weight and has plenty of power, and handles very well, making it extremely fun to ride, especially on the curves but also on the highway. My previous ride was a Buell Ulysses and it is easily comparable to that, without the searing right side heat. The bike has many extras, including an on-board computer, ABS, center stand, mirror extensions, three BMW cases with the same key as the ignition,side stand base expander,heated handgripshelmet lock,additional stop lights around the license plate, anda Madstad adjustable windscreenI have found the stock seat to be comfortable, even on those all day rides. It is the standard (not low) seat and the suspension has not been lowered. I have found the heated handgrips to be a must for a commuter and makes riding enjoyable even when the temperatures become cool. The Madstad windscreen is fully adjustable to each rider (with tools) and has really enhanced my riding experience (the original windscreen is included in the sale). There is absolutely no buffeting at highway speeds; instead, the air flows smoothly over my helmet. We are selling it because recent lifestyle changes means that it will not get enough use to justify keeping it. I have it listed locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if I find a buyer through other means.
