1958 Chevrolet Apache 32 short stepside pickup. Runs and drives. Has 350 2V with 350 turbo automatic. Body has small amount of deep rust but has a lot of surface rust. Roof has some dents along the top rear typical of old work trucks. The cab corners have been cut out, floor has been patched both sides and is solid. All trim is in place and is in good condition. Glass needs work except for rear window. Doors are good with no rust other than surface rust. Speakers were cut into the lower door panels at some time. New hood hinges, springs, latch. Master cylinder rebuilt - brakes are typical for all drum. Left rear brake line is pinched off - probably a leaking wheel cylinder that the previous owner did not want to fix. Right front wheel cylinder leaks a little. Tires are good - I put 4 used tires on. 6 lug wheels. Front end needs to be rebuilt - it wanders when driving. Frame was shortened a long time ago and a short bed was placed on the frame. Bed is not bolted down - I have a ratchet strap holding bed to frame. Bed has steel floor in good condition with custom diamond plate inside wall covers. Rear of frame needs to be shortened about 3" for bed to sit down on the frame properly. Has new exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers exiting the rear of the truck. Later 80s bench seat was installed. Has old school diamond pleated headliner and wood steering wheel. New headlight switch and glove box. Lokar floor shifter. All lights work except outside right rear. Wiper works as does heater blower but do not use factory switches.
