You can fly in to meet us at AEX and drive this bike home anywhere. Here's the description of the bike from the previous owner. I have put very few miles on the bike since its purchase from this gentleman:This bike has been in the family since 1984 when it was purchased from a BMW dealer in upstate NY. It had approx 5000 original miles on it at that time. According to the dealer the bike had been bought by a guy who rode it off and on for a few years and then put it into storage. Shortly after it was ridden for a couple hundred miles in '84 the rear main started leaking a bit and the bike was returned to the dealer where they installed a new main seal. They figure the original had hardened from sitting in storage. So ... history sort of repeated itself and this machine was ridden very little until about 1993... just over a thousand miles ... short trips around town etc. Always stored in the garage. It runs excellent. Strong and quiet. This is an original condition motorcycle ... with the exception of a new Pagusa solo seat recently installed, new right twist grip, new battery and bar end mirror. .. Gas tank is solid ...Suspension is in surprisingly good shape ...shocks still functioning properly .. I am including the original bench seat and the right bar end mirror. There are minor nicks and scratches here and there, but over all, it looks great. There are no issues with this bike .. Starts first kick, consistently and idles smooth. I have not had this machine tuned in years.. The tire tread is good and there is no visible cracking, but the tires are OLD too. One muffler is showing a small amount of blistering in an out of sight location ... the rear wheel chrome is flaking a bit but the front is nice. Pipes are very good.I doubt you'll ever come across another one of these in this condition. It's beautiful.. ..seriously.Only one key for the side tank tool box and fork lock. The hydraulic steering damper functions normally. This motorcycle is sold as is with no warranty.
