1962 Corvan-originally from Arizona. Has been in Wisconsin for the past 8 years. This is a fun van for hopping in and driving around town. I had a lot of fun with this van but have moved on to other projects so I must let this one go. The engine is a 66' 102ci car motor with 110 heads. Was told when I bought it, that it had lower miles on a rebuild. Motor runs great and has lots of power. I have run nothing but synthetic oil in it. Motor does have occasional slight clicking noise on passenger side upon start up. It goes away when the van warms up. Some times the noise isn't there at all. I think it is a rocker out of adjustment but I have never looked at it because it always went away. The body is from Arizona so it is near rust free when I painted it 3 years ago. It is a 20 footer because I am not a professional painter by any means, but I have had a lot of comments on how nice it looks. The side doors are starting to rust at the bottom but can be repaired easily and I will include the extra Spring Time yellow paint with the van. The side doors also need some adjustment also. There is a roof vent above the front seat that was installed during the van's time in Arizona to allow cool air in when driving. It works quite well. There is not too much to the interior in these things. The front seat will need recovering. Brakes are great. You can drive this van all over town, any day because it runs and drives great. Corvair vans are not the greatest highway vehicles because they are geared low and tend to wander a little bit at high speeds. So keep this in mind if you plan on driving the van home over a long distance. If you want a van that you can hop in and cruise around town in, this is the one!!! Questions?! Please ask!
