Here is a great 1953 oval that was just purchased from the 2nd owner that bought the car in 56. I recently bought this car with the intentions of restoring it and if it doesn't sell that's what I will do. This car has all of its original sheet metal and appears to have never been hit. It has all of its original fenders ,aprons,correct 4 tab 3 bolt hood ,engine lid, doors , seats , correct speedo, correct original heart tail lights, dome light , steering wheel and horn button, ash tray , correct ribbed semaphores, large mouth gas tank , split case trans , and a running early 36hp engine. The car has all the correct large logo Sekurit glass as well as very nice original floor pans with the correct snap style floor mats. This car has everything going for it. Its a super complete early car with a lot of unique 53 only features and is a perfect restoration candidate or strip the resprays back to uncover the original paint and drive it as it is.
