Up for sale is my 1985 Honda ATC250ES Big Red. This is your chance to own a Complete 250ES Big Red that has been well cared for, is all there, unabused, and that hasn't been torn apart. I purchased this off of a friend of mine whose grandfather is the original owner. It has been well taken care of and has not been messed with like all of the others. As you can see, everything is there except for the small trim pieces on each side of the rear fenders (very common to be missing). I purchased this with the intent of restoring it but I do not have the time or room for it anymore. I recently rebuilt the carburetor, installed the OEM Honda Cold Start Kit, replaced the throttle cable, put a new UNI air filter on it, and put a new plastic gas tank on it until the original was restored. The original tank does not hold fuel like it should and will need some TLC, as most of them do. Everything works and functions as it's supposed to. The Brakes work, the choke/throttle work, reverse works, the reverse/neutral lights work, the brake lights work, the headlight high/low works, the electric starter works, and all of the electrical works as it's supposed to. The tires are Carlisle and are in great shape (one has a minor slow leak). The engine runs great and starts immediately every time. The transmission shifts through the gears flawlessly. It has a minor amount of surface rust in a few places but just surface rust and nothing to be concerned with. Look at what the parts alone go for and you'll realize how great of a deal this is.
