Up for auction or for sale is a 1961 Chevy C10 short bed step side truck!!(aka "Gold Finger")This truck was a local barn find!!!Runs great and has a cool Rat Rod/Patina Look The motor is a 235 inline 6 that purrs like a kitten. The motor was giving a tune up. The 235 shifts via 3 speed on the tree and shifts nice and smooth. The radiator was cleaned and pressured tested. Also the gas tank was cleaned out and a new sending unit was installed. Every Gauge and light works on this truck like it should! Gas gauge, turn signals and indicators in dash also work. The wiring was gone through and cleaned up where it was needed to make sure everything works properly. The truck sits on 4 powder coated steel wheels with brand new 235/75/15 radial white wall tires. The brake system was gone through and everything that needed replacement was changed out. The truck stops good and straight. The body of the truck has it share of bumps and bruises. Remember this truck was a true barn find in California and was used as a truck. The floor pans and body mounts are in great shape. The interior has new seat upholstery and fresh paint. New carpet, weather stripping, and door sills plates. The bed wood was replaced with new wood and it has a gun stock finish. This truck runs awesome with no problems and would make a great cruiser. I also have the original sales invoice dated May 31 1961 from Ellis Brooks Chevrolet. I was also told by the previous owner the truck has 102k original miles although there is no documents to back up this claim.
