We are motivated to sell our Rare, vintage Mercedes Diesel 220, Dark Amazon Green, on a black interior, with a -- 4 speed transmission--, in good condition, and believed to have original paint. It is equipped with Air Conditioning- (needs service to work), manual windows, and just power steering, and that is about it for options. As simple as it gets for these older rare 4 speed, Mercedes. The mileage is reading 16,121k miles, and the odometer is working fine. These early odometers only have 5 digits and a tenth, so it must have rolled over. The Benz is in original (Patina) condition, needs some tlc, paint seems to be original and in decent shape, and the interior seems to be original too, with no obvious rips or tears. It runs and drives quite well, a little zippy for a stick shift on these 220d models, and the transmission shifts well in all gears, with no grinding. This safe, little Benz has been a great, safe, and reliable driver for many years. The engine is a strong runner, with no serious issues. A few years back, the suspension was serviced, along with some other minor issues, so the car is quite stable on the road. The car is in "Patina" condition, as nothing has been modified, yet still quite presentable, and the car is all original, except the radio, which was replaced before we bought it. This is NOT A SHOW CAR, or 'Garage Queen'-, a great driver,-- and restoration car, should you decide to take it to that step. The car is a CALIFORNIA CAR, has its original BLUE PLATES, and we have a clean title. So this runs on Diesel fuel only.
