1929 Ford Model A conversion tractor. This has a Peru tractor conversion mounted on a 1929 ford chassis. Manufactured by the Peru implement company of Peru Illinois. These units were sold to farmers at a time when it was an alternative to purchasing an expensive tractor. The mileage was listed as 55000, but the actual mileage is unknown. Because this is considered a tractor, no vehicle title is required. This tractor unit has the gear drive system mounted up at the rear end and frame location. The rear wheels are 50" inches tall at the lugs and are 8" wide. Front tires are 21". The engine is 200.5 Cu. In, 40 HP. The transmission is manual 3 speed. Has a tool box mounted next to the drivers seat. The radiator is a none stock item. These tractors are a historic part of early farming. new parts used in rebuild.... new tires and tubes new battery and cables and batt box new wiring coil and distributor cap spark plugs fan belt fuel shut off and fuel lines muffler (non stock) front engine mount rear engine mount pads and bolts clutch disk instrument panel and meter hub caps new steering wheel floor boards purchased used engine which had cylinders bored and new piston/s and rings installed. Did a valve job and installed a new camshaft timing gear. New complete Engine gasket set
