The City of The Village, Oklahoma is selling a surplus 1993 Ford Aerostar cargo van. The vehicle was purchased in 1994 and used by the police department. It has not been driven on a regular basis for several years but did start several months ago when it was moved to its current location. Currently it will not start as the battery is dead, also the driver side rear tire is flat and does not appear it will hold air. The windshield is cracked near the top on the passenger side but all other windows are intact. There is a steel partition with door installed behind the front seats. An observation port was installed in the roof for use while the vehicle was in service but has been removed and the original roof plate has been welded back in place. The observation port will not be included in the sale. The paint on the body is chipped on several places and there are several rust spots on the roof. A $50.00 deposit via PayPal is required within 48 hours of auction close, balance of purchase price can be paid in cash when the vehicle is picked up. The vehicle is available for inspection by appointment and more photos are available upon request. The Village is within the metro area of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
