1992 Red Geo Metro Lsi, ~~ 116,000 miles My little red Geo is in great shape body, paint, top and engine wise . The interior needs redone, there are heat cracks in the dash and the seat material while not ripped or torn it is stretched as you'd expect in a twenty year old car. This is "Southern" car with not a spec of rust it has never seen ice or snow let alone that nasty road salt that simply rots cars to pieces. It has A/C that barely works but all parts are there and connected. I thought it took the old freon but I was recently told that it takes the newer stuff. If I can verify that; I will buy a can of "re-charger" and see what happens. The engine and rest of the car are factory spec meaning there have been no performance or bolt on modifications done to "HOP IT UP" It has the factory 4 channel six speaker AM/FM, cassette player which works, the front tweeters need replaced as they just grumble but using the rear speakers the sound is great. I replaced the rear speakers last year as the old ones were just worn out. The engine, drive train... are strong it was tuned up last year and there are no mis-fires, blue smoke... the automatic transmission sometimes shifts as it should and other times you need to run through the gears manually. I have been told this is not unusual for a Geo and there adjustment to correct this. The tires are nearly new, brakes have ~~ 10,000 mile on them and the complete exhaust system including resonator was replaced last year. I drive the 100 round trip to Road Atlanta at least once a month and use almost use as a daily driver. It is the Autotrans and the gas mileage varies from 35 - 40+ miles per gallon. It is for sale AS is where is with no warranty, we can take it to a local shop of your choice if you'd like to have it looked over before concluding the sale. I'm willing to meet you within a 100 mile radius of Atlanta if you would like to see it before you bid and can deliver it in the same. This car was sold on Ebay on about 24 Jun 2014, however the buyer basically disappeared ??? We all know that this happens on Ebay all we can do is "grin and bear it!"
