1947 Plymouth P-15 2 Door Business Coupe. This was a very solid original low miles Plymouth to start with and many modifications have been made. This car is driven daily and insured and registered in California with a clear title. Modifications include: - 12 volt conversion - GM high output one wire alternator - HEI ignition - Front disc brakes new master cylinder - 2000 Explorer rear axle w/ disc brakes 3:55 gear - Wilcap adapter to Gm 700R4 Automatic transmission w overdrive - Headers dual exhaust 36" glasspacks - Front shock relocation for a smooth ride w new shocks - Weber DGEV progressive 2-barrel carb w auto choke - Tachometer The front seat and door panels have been redone a few years ago, there are bottle openers installed on both doors. The headliner and package tray need to be done still. There is Rattle Trap Extreme sound insulator installed on the entire floor and back wall. The rear windows are dark tinted. Nearly new Hankook tires on steel wheels with hubcaps 235/70/R15 rears, 205/70/R15 fronts. New tie rod ends. All gauges work, the speedo is 25 miles off but can be adjusted with speedo gears in the transmission. The original radio works with 6 volt but is disconnected for the 12 volt. Headlights hi-lo beam, fog lights, tail lights, brake lights, dome light and wipers all work but the wiring needs to be updated and gone over. A small fuse box on firewall. 12 volt cig light plug mounted under dash to charge phone power devices. Fulton visor. This is a very driveable work in progress, its never had body work done and has very little rust. All stainless is original and the body is unmolested. Rebuilt Power Pak motor tag, not sure when that was done. The motor starts right up and idles every time no smoke. Drives and shifts smooth. Not going win any drag races, only about 100 horsepower but can easily pull hills and cruise freeway speeds. Fuel mileage is decent. Linkage has been made to use the original 3 on the tree shifter to shift like a normal automatic PRNDDL. Clutch pedal is still there but not hooked up. Painted with Hot Rod Flatz Midnight Blue. This car is not perfect but is a very nice start and a rare unique car. This is sold AS_IS and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
