If you love the cult-classic Cafe Racer bikes, then this Triumph is for you! This is a 2007 model that I purchased new in 2008. Less than 3600 Miles on it. The 2007 Thruxton is special because after the '07 model they started changing things which made the bike more civilized and less true to the 60's style race bike it is a tribute to. Last year for Carburated Thruxton / Bonnie. Fuel Injection came in '08. Triumph tried to make it look like the carb version but it's not. for '09-'11 Triumph removed the Clip On Bars and replaced them with a less aggressive Handlebar. It depends on your taste but if you're a purist looking for the truly modern classic, no compromises, '60's era Triumph Cafe Racer then the '07 is it! '08-'11 are still great bikes but they are arguably less pure as far as the true racing heritage goes. This bike is essentially the same as the bikes that raced at Thruxton except it has more displacement (865cc) and electric start. What great about this bike: Very clean, always garaged, Never dropped, Runs beautifully. This bike is stock. The only changes to the bike are the removal of the stock mufflers and stock mirrors (replaced with sleek custom mirrors) as seen in the pictures. I still have the stock mufflers and mirrors and will install them at your request or give them to you with the bike. The bike sounds and looks vicious without them though so I'd highly recommend leaving it as is. *** THE BIKE IS ALSO LISTED LOCALLY.
