Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1963 Ford Thunderbird Coupe, Katie. The car has been redone top to bottom and runs perfectly. I've just driven her down from Alaska, and she made it without a hitch. I'm going back home to England, so it's time to say goodbye. No Reserve! In the last 5000 miles she has: -A brand new crate Ford 390 motor with 410 horsepower/458 ft/lbs torque and about 4000 miles on it. -Ford Powertrain Accessories Ceramic Coated Headers -MSD Electronic Ignition She runs like a top and sounds very mean. Fires up on the first turn, every time. She's also got: -A rebuilt Cruise-o-matic (original 3 speed trans), runs fine. -Recaro Seats -New Dual Exhaust -New Interior Panels/Metal/Chrome -4 Newer Cooper Cobra Tires on Centerline rims. -Fresh Paint. -No rust. She had a few small patch panels before she was painted, but she's now rust free Overall, she's in great shape. I've focused my time on mechanicals and the exterior. Again, she's just driven from Alaska to San Francisco, so you know she'll go... Motor is perfect, carb is rebuilt, etc, etc, etc. She runs very well and you can drive her right now. Steering is very tight, brakes (drums) are solid. The suspension has the usual 60s float. Lights work, wipers work. The exterior and chrome are all in good condition. Paint is fresh and, apart from a few small chips, is in very good condition. The interior is 95% put together. Seats/belts/dash/windows/panels are all in good shape. I've run wiring for the stereo but none is installed. You'd need a head unit is all. Carpet is new, Recaro front seats are new, etc. She needs a headliner installed (the hoops are all there). Windshield has a small crack that's been "fixed". It won't spread and is out of your vision. I've got about $19000 in the car. Even before you take the new motor, new trans, new interior, etc into account, the NADA average value books at $17,400: 1963 Ford Thunderbird Value You can drive her away today, anywhere you want. I am not looking for trades of any kind. Clean Alaska title in my hand. Thank you for looking. Katie will be in San Francisco until Friday, when I will drive her down to LA, where she'll be until she sells, at a friend's house. I'm going back home to England, so it's time to let her go.
