Up for auction is this super rare 1941 DeSoto 3-Window Business Coupe - I have owned the car for approx 3 years and it had been stored in a building by the previous owner for 40 years prior. The body is very solid with only a small amount of rust starting in the lower rear quarters. Floors, braces, frame, etc are very very nice & solid. The car is straight with no dents or body putty. The original laquer paint is cracked and starting to show surface rust. The dash is complete and in very solid restorable condition - even the steering wheel is very good! Mechanically the engine cranks over fine - has compression but no spark. I installed new plugs and wires, cap & rotor - still needs condensor and coil. I believe it will run will these parts and a little work. It has the Fluid Drive transmission. Car rolls and steers easily - brakes do NOT work. Clear Kansas title provided upon full payment. Vehicle is being sold AS IS - Buyer responsible for transportation. $500 deposit due within 72 hrs of sale end - balance due upon pick up or within 7 days - whichever comes first.
