I have many more items up for auction, please take a look around, all are quality items, most new. Up for auction is a really nice true barn find 1955 CHEVROLET 2nd series 3100 PICKUP TRUCK 1/2 ton short bed step-side V8 EDELBROCK. A few years ago my Son and I drove to Dallas,TX to get this truck from my grandfather's friend. The truck was under years of dust and parts piled inside the bed. I hooked my winch line to the trucks chassis and drug it out into the light. The old Chevy looked pretty cool, it had a good stance, the floors were solid, the cab corners were solid. There was mostly surface rust in some of the normal places but nothing too bad. The Old Man told me that the truck belonged to his dad and his dad bought it from the dealership so he had started to restore the truck back in the early '90's after his dad passed away. He also told me he had already painted the inside of the cab-as you can see in the pictures. We power washed the whole truck, my Son and I sanded down the surface rust off of the cab floor and painted it with rust inhibiting black paint, then started sanding the body, and finally took it to a body shop to do final touches. The truck is pretty complete and is A VERY GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A FULL RESTORATION, body is very solid, overall it been restored to a 90% the tuck is fully primed, leaving it almost ready for paint. This gives you the freedom to pick your own color and really make it your own dream realized and not someone else's. There is very minor remaining restoration left. I put a new windshield the rest of the glass is all original and in good shape there are no cracks in them. New headlights, brand new bench seat, new thermostat, brand new battery, comes complete with all hood and outside cab trim and ornaments-as you can see in picture. The truck starts up right away, runs great, and it drives and shifts smoothly.There are no leaks or smoke, I usually take the truck for cruising every other weekend to take my kids to parks, festivals or car shows in the area, probably not to go across country without a good maintenance tune-up, clear TX title in my name in hand.
