1996 Mustang Cobra, 52,000 original miles. This car is my baby, I've owned it since 2002 and it had 29,000 when I purchased it. It has lots of extras but does need a new engine. I have all documentation from Ford on Cobra build number and Mystic build number(#1496)I went back and forth whether to fix it myself or just sell, so if someone meets the reserve then it will be yours. I really want to put a new 2015 in the garage this fall. I had Anderson Ford in Clinton do a compression check and they found three cylinders very low on the passenger side (like 10) and one cylinder on driver side around 70. The other cylinders have normal compression around 150. So the car is not driveable in current condition, but I believe the block the be ok, no oil is leaking but I have not pulled the heads to see exactly what is going on. The good is a great body, interior and transmission and rearend. The Vortech supercharger was rebuilt by Vortech last spring cause of a leaking seal, and was upgraded to a new housing and bearings. Modifications: Vortech V-1 S trim supercharger running 10 psi (FMU is removed but I have it) 42 lb injectors Pro-M 80 mm mass air meter SCT flip chip Tremec 600 transmission Lakewood SFI Bell housing Centerforce clutch (both transmission and clutch have less than 3000 miles) Aluminum driveshaft with loop Ford 31 spline differential with 4:10 gears and Moser axles Off road H pipe with Flowmaster mufflers BBK upper and lower control arms UPR caster / camber plates KYB adjustable struts and shocks Eibach sportline springs (specific rate) 2004 Cobra seats with highly desirable black / black combo New carpet inside and new mat in trunk
