For Sale --Older restoration of 1929 Buick Model 51 Series 129 four door sedan. Original restoration was in early 1970's with newer paint job done in 2008. Has original mohair type cloth interior on seats and doors. Original style cloth for headliner. Runs great down the road. Engine has only had plugs, wiring, hoses and small misc. parts replaced, otherwise just as it came out of factory. Transmission original with clutch plates being refurbished in 2008. Chrome was redone in early 1970's and does show some aging. Interior in excellent shape, couple of small holes in headliner thanks to moths. Mostly complete with very few parts missing. All wiring redone with original cloth style wiring, gas guage does not work, all others seem to be okay. Did not hook-up a few wires off steering column. Good solid car, eye catcher and fun to drive. Just don't have space or time for it anymore. I am third owner and hate to let it go, but time for someone else to enjoy it. I have had it out less than three times in as many years, but starts up right away and runs without any problems. There is a small oil leak where drive line ties to transmission, believe just needs new packing or gasket. This vehicle is being sold as is where it sits. Comes with cover(not in best shape), hand crank, extra door knob and a few other misc. parts. Also a couple of owners manuals included.
